MFN organized a health education program in a community school located in rural village of Dang, which was a day travel by bus from Kathmandu. The school provides education from primary to Secondary level. Approximately 300 students participated in the program. The main focus was on general and ocular hygiene, immunization, nutrition, Vitamin A deficiency. Detailed information was given on smoking and its hazards, communicable diseases and its prevention and HIV AIDS. In addition, we also distributed some booklets about communicable diseases and HIV AIDS to the school administration.
