Story of a Blind woman  

This is a life inspiring story of a one eyed, 70 years old lady from Salyan. She was visually handicapped; as her only useful eye was affected by cataract.She was unable to perform her daily activities due to her blindness. Then, a day came, bringing her a joy of sight. Muna foundation organized a free surgical camp at Sitalpati, Salyan where she could regain her sight. Unfortunately, the camp site was too far from patient's home. However she was brought to the camp site by her son carrying her on his back for 2 hours.

At the camp, she underwent all required ophthalmic examination and was operated for cataract.

The next day she gained her vision and could walk without others help. Her joy was clearly visible in her tears and smile.She thanked Muna foundation waving her hand for bringing miracle into her life.

A day with an orphan  

MFN decided to spend some time with an orphan. After one and a half day journey, we reached the house in a rural village. It was a house made from mud and steel sheet.We saw a girl sitting about 200 meters away from the house looking after the cattle. We went over to her. Helping the Helpless  

Sushilakhatri, who was blind in one eye due to an injury, was brought to an eye hospital by her father from a remote village travelling a day by bus. She was diagnosed with a cataract in her right eye and needed surgery according to the hospital.
