Sushilakhatri, who was blind in one eye due to an injury, was brought to an eye hospital by her father from a remote village travelling a day by bus. She was diagnosed with a cataract in her right eye and needed surgery according to the hospital. But due to their adverse financial status, her father couldn't afford surgery and were planning to return home without treatment. Muna Foundation Nepal has taken a step to help with her treatment and paid all her costs. She was operated on and the next day she was very happy to see the world again with her right eye as well.
